Country Thunder Partners with Legendary Jack Daniel’s Brand to Bring Full Tennessee Whiskey Experience to Arizona

 

FLORENCE, Ariz. (March 25, 2014) – Arizona’s premier music and lifestyles festival, Country Thunder, is only 16 days away and the anticipation continues to grow!  Country music’s hottest stars, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, and more, will hit the main stage, while the newly-added Jack Daniel's Courtyard will host performances by the hottest newcomers on the local scene.
 
Additionally, ticket holders will be given the once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn more about America’s favorite whiskey in the Jack Daniel’s Experience. The Jack Daniel’s Experience, a mobile museum, is bringing a taste of the much-loved distillery from Lynchburg, Tenn., to Florence, Ariz. You'll learn who Mr. Jack Daniel was and how he ended up with the best-selling whiskey in the world. You'll see (and smell) whiskey dripping slowly through charcoal and the new oak barrels used in maturing Tennessee’s finest whiskey. The Experience is open to all folks, 21 years old and up, for tours free of charge throughout the festival. Games and giveaways will also be part of the entertainment at various times throughout the festival.
 
For festival goers looking to kick off their cowboy boots and put on their dancin’ shoes, the Electric Thunder tent, featuring Drew Cooper and DJ Du spinning country, red dirt and rock with an EDM/club twist, will kick off nightly immediately following the main stage headliner. Also, Denim & Diamonds will be hosting an on-site bar. It’s the most fun you can have with your boots on!  On Sunday, April 13, Denim & Diamonds offers Cowboy Church from 12:00pm – 1:00pm.
Country Thunder has also partnered with the Arizona Department of Corrections Wild Horse & Burro Training Program. Over the course of the festival, the program will demonstrate horsemanship, animal husbandry and farrier skills resulting in the training of untamed horses with the ultimate goal to domesticate wild horses so they can be offered for adoption.

Festival Partners with Discount Cab to Offer Patrons Transportation

FLORENCE, Ariz. (January 31, 2014) – With less than three months to go until Country Thunder rolls into Arizona, the announcements keep coming. Discount Cab has partnered with Country Thunder, KMLE and select Phoenix and Mesa locations to offer transportation to and from the festival. Patrons who aren’t camping, but want to drink AND be responsible, visit www.countrythunder.com to book your Discount Cab ride! These packages include door-to-door service, so leave your keys at home, but don't forget your ID.
 
If you only have one day to enjoy the greatest event in Arizona, you're in luck! Single-day tickets go on sale February 1st with Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets available for $75 and Thursday tickets available for $50. And don't forget, in order to enter the campgrounds, a four-day admission wristband is required. Weekend passes are available for $160 until midnight on January 31st, before increasing to $190 on February 1st.
 
Additional amenities are available for Country Thunder ticket holders looking for the premium festival experience. Add a Port-O-Potty to your campsite for only $130+taxes+fees. Also, if you wish to park a second motorized vehicle on your campsite you are required to purchase an Extra Vehicle Pass, which is available before the event for $40. If you're staying overnight and need to park your car, overnight parking is available for $80. Reserved (RSVD) passes are available for $80 and guarantee parking close to the festival entrance.

CMT To Partner With Country Thunder For 22nd Annual Festivals

CMT has signed on as the exclusive cable partner of the 2014 Country Thunder festivals, two of the genre’s largest festivals with headliners including Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert and The Band Perry slated to perform. Now in its 22nd year, the festivals expect to host sell-out crowds of more than 30,000 country music fans from April 10-13 in Arizona, and July 24-27 in Wisconsin. Country Thunder is preparing for a massive musical onslaught in the desert from April 10-13, 2014. Country music fans will two-step the night away with Jason Aldean, reigning ACM “Male Vocalist of the Year.” Aldean brings the power to the party whereever he performs. Alongside powerhouse Aldean is the firecracker artist herself, Miranda Lambert. With her massive catalogue of hits, her high-energy show and her fiery personality, fans will come to see the real face of new country music.

Also headlining, The Band Perry, the family trio that embraces that old trusted adage of any good music – the hook. And they have a lot of great hooks. Add to that Kimberly Perry's lusty, belting voice, and fans will be lost in the maelstrom of music that is The Band Perry.

Joining these three powerhouses, are some names everyone will know.
